10-Day IFR Training / Mooney Oviation

Hi, Tony.

I had a great time flying and training with Shawn over the last 10 days. He’s an excellent teacher, and he gave me the knowledge and experience needed to feel confident filing and flying in the IFR system. In addition to practicing lots of approaches in both simulated and actual IMC, we flew real cross-country point-to-point trips which helped me see how everything fits together. By the end of the training, I was more than prepared to pass the check ride. And it felt great to fly home solo afterward on an IFR flight plan without hesitation.

I highly recommend AFIT and Shawn  to anyone serious about training.
