14-Day Private Pilot Certificate

Tony, I had been debating committing to completing my private pilot training in California. Due to inclimate weather and forest fires I was struggling finding any hours up here in Alaska.

I want to personally reach out and thank you for your responsiveness and talking with me over the phone and explaining the AFIT program. I also want to thank my instructor Paul for his patience with me as an instructor. He was a great mentor and was able to find my weaknesses as a student-pilot and turn them into my strengths.

My 2 weeks at Van Nuys with Paul were memorable not only for completing my private certification but it was also an experience I will remember for the rest of my life. You guys have a great crew down there and in a few years I’ll be coming back to complete my IFR training.

If you are debating doing the AFIT program just go for it you won’t regret it. I have already recommended it to my coworkers up here who are looking for hours and if you can get set up with Paul you will be a better pilot because of it.
