10-Day IFR Training

John did it again!!  Thanks to John’s skill, patients, and passion for flight, I am now an instrument rated pilot.  After working with John on my private pilot certificate and completing that last year, when it was time start working on my instrument rating I know exactly who I wanted to train with.  Even know we had a number of equipment problems with the airplane I choose to fly, John stuck with it and gave me the skills and confidence that I needed to become a safe and proficient instrument pilot.  When I took my check-ride I had over 30 hours of actual instrument time,  anyone that has flown in actual IMC knows there is a huge differences between actual and simulated.  Even though I will not be flying an approach to minimums anytime soon I will be flying safely and for that I cannot thank John and AFIT enough.
