10-Day Private Pilot Finish-Up Course

Back to Chicago yesterday. I was very pleased with the training I received from AFIT. Truthfully, I was skeptical that I would finish the certification in ten days myself. Getting through the ASEL flying requirements was more than I expected. Ruben was an excellent instructor. The airport is a great place to train and I loved the x-country route on a calm day with reasonable visibility. It was awesome.

After I soloed Ruben focused on getting me through the requirements. For all the hours I had logged with my previous flight instructor I was only able to count one hour towards the ASEL requirements — a sad situation.
