10-Day IFR Training Course / Cessna 182

I cannot recommend this program enough. Tackling an instrument rating in such a short period of time is a tall order but AFIT makes it as practice and comprehensive as possible. My instructor Paul was beyond qualified and covered each topic so thoroughly that I not only felt comfortable during my checkride, but more importantly felt confident in my abilities when training in actual IFR conditions, which are common in Lincoln CA, furthering the value of this course. There’s nothing like flying in the real stuff and AFIT is the perfect flight school to give you real exposure. 

More than worth the cost, Paul was happy to work morning to night with me, and they even offer extra days to make sure you’re sharp before sending you off to the checkride. AFIT struck me as a program that produces remarkably safe pilots.
